Our STS Ranchwear outerwear with snap closures make getting out the door quick and easy. That said, sometimes life happens and a snap gets lost. While the rogue snap enjoys life on the outside, follow along to replace your snap at home without needing any special tools!*
First, get organized. Have your snaps and tools ready!
Next, you’ll need to know the different parts that make up the snap to install it!
The picture below shows the different parts of the snaps and their names. Please refer to this diagram when moving forward with at home installation!

Match up the sides of the snap before you get started. The post should be on the bottom side of the fabric, and the stud should be on the top where it will be attached to the socket.
Now it’s time to replace your snap!
1. Position the two parts of the cap and socket snap on either side of the fabric.

2. Once the snap is lined up, keep a steady hand on the socket to ensure nothing shifts.
3. Line up the nail head inside of the socket and give it a few taps with the hammer until the socket is securely locked onto the cap.
