Women's Cassidy

I ordered an XL. Typically I am a L or XL due to my broad shoulders. I wear a 10 - 12 women's sizing. I am 55 YO, 175 lbs, 5'7", hips 42" and have longer arms. I do not like tight jackets around my waist. This jacket in an XL fits the bill of giving some room - even with a zip-up sweatshirt and long sleeve shirt on. This is more of a layering jacket. I will put a jacket with heavier material over it for working on the ranch but it will be excellent for when we run to town for parts or lunch. The front snaps are a bit off center when the zipper is closed by itself. Once it is zipped and the snaps are snapped, it lines up great. I think it might be a style thing that I am just old school. Anyway, excellent product as expected from STS and the description is accurate.

I've got 2 coats and a couple shirt jackets from STS. I had to size up with everything. I do like things a little roomier for layering, but I'd still go up if I wasn't. This little jacket is pretty nice. It's got a spiffy look, rather tailored. It's a 'going out' jacket, not a work jacket. The outside is too fragile. I got the men's one for my husband last year. He really likes it, says it pretty warm. But, it didn't take him long to catch it on something and put a rip in it. So, just be mindful of what you're doing in it. Pockets are a good depth, will hold your crap and you don't have to worry about it falling out right away. I got the green one, I might get the brown. Nice coat, only took off a star for having to tip toe around and be careful about tearng it up.

I really like this jacket. I bought the Medium and have to say there is one design flaw. The hips on this jacket are too flared and on me looked like a little skirt.
However, I liked this jacket so much that I had it altered and now looks flattering and great.
I love that it has plenty of pockets and love the snaps in case you're in the saddle.
