It’s about time

If you’ve tried to find a leather jacket this colour, good luck until now. I love the colour which is slightly more to the yellow side than the ad shows, (should fade out) and the leather appears to be nubuck. I wear a large in the Rifleman and XL in the Turnback so I ordered a large in this jacket. I probably could have ordered a medium. The lining is thinner than the other models which probably makes it fit larger. The measurements were spot on and the large weighed in at 3.5 pounds. Very soft leather. Absolutely love the jacket. It’s going to turn a lot of heads.

Bowie Jacket: Outstanding Craftsmanship & Quality

Outstanding Craftsmanship & Quality. Has some heft to it & is a substantial jacket; generally true to size. The sleeves are a bit longer than usual, just like what you'd want when riding s.th. with your arms out in front of you (i.e.: horseback, m/c, ATV, etc). The concealed carry pocket is very roomy, so you're not restricted to just small/compact firearms. However, I do recommend also using either a pocket holster, or some other strong protective material, when concealing larger/heavier handguns so you don't wear thru the pocket liner over time. Be aware, the very light-colored/dyed leather is more of a thick buckskin/nubuck type that will easily become soiled & may be hard to clean.......this kinda goes with the turf when wearing this type of leather. IOT avoid neck skin oils from absorbing into & discoloring this jacket's inside collar, make sure to prevent direct skin to collar contact by always wearing a collared shirt (or a scarf if that cold).....just my 2cts worth, based on experience with jackets of this type of smooth buckskin-like leather. Once the first blemish (mark, scratch, etc) is made, just accept it & watch it "season" with age. I highly recommend this jacket; go ahead & take the plunge.
